Life’s monotony
How wearisome the routine!
Barely existent

One, two, three I count
Tick, tock, another day flies
Continuity

Alienation
I don’t understand the thrill
Why is no one me?

How uneventful
The colourless days go by
Waiting for a hue

Cry for a colour
A rainbow to paint freely
Amongst seas of grey
