Outside my window,
I see,
The wind at a calm rate, waves moving peacefully.
People playing with their puppies,
Wearing their straw weaved hats,
Strolling on his path,
Having lovely picnics,
He’s sat there, still, wondering.
Confused to how,
Speaking, Walking, having families,
When night comes,
Nothing but stillness,
Loneliness and quiet, then to wait and wait,
Nothing but street lights and cats rummaging in bins,
To wake up to the screeching of a commodore and flashing lights,
Then, to start over again.
