Short Story
-
2006
Birds munching the insects and bugs,
Swallows are chomping on juicy slugs,
Snakes slivering acroos the sand,
The sun has burnt all their land.
Yabbies and fish waiting for the rain,
To come and fill the dams again,
Thunder rolls, lightening flashes,
Hail falls and windows smash.
Springtime comes and trees all blossom,
Baby lambs and baby possums,
Drinking from their mothers milk,
Coats all shining bright as silk.
