Why focus of the words of those who bring you down,
When you can fill your heart with God to remove that frown.
Let them all know that you have been saved,
And would never provide them with what they craved.
It’s not the words of others that define you,
But the words of God in which you grew.
Let these words be present in your daily activities,
So that others may see all of life’s positivities.
When others make you feel low,
Don’t give them their show.
It’s okay to be in pain,
But not to be someone else’s chain.
Don’t treat them the way they treat you,
It’s really not a kind thing to do.
Learn to be more peaceful,
And just be overall better people.
