Humans force me to fight against family and friends
I get abused and pushed around. The pain, it never ends
Humans lock me up in small cages and put chains across my snout
And when all that’s over, you push me to the dirt, close the door, and lock me out.
And I’m the one that gets banned, the one that people fear
From trying to defend myself? The facts here just aren’t clear
So why are you scared of me, when I just want a friend,
To love me without question, until the very end.
Its humans to worry about, for my life they’ve torn apart,
Because if you love me and take care of me, I will leave paw prints on your heart
