2018
Another year is over,
Another year is done.
I’m not feeling lucky like a four-leaf clover,
Trying to grow underneath the blazing sun.
Trying to find it all,
While trying to find myself.
As I watch the world brawl,
I look upon my shelf.
I see old memories,
of who we used to be.
When life was like a breeze,
When we had the whole world to see.
I look down into my palms,
And wish your hand took mine.
Suddenly all was calm,
Thinking of you made everything just fine.
