Memories

I remember the time when my life began,
And the time when I went to school,
And then I remembered that marvellous time,
When I got a swimming pool.
Though it seems so long ago,
It’s nice to see the memories flow.
I will eternally treasure them, treat them like fun,
Memories each year, one by one.
One memory was when I had my first child,
When he turned 3, he went wild!
After that, I’m not sure what happened,
As far as I know, I started to sadden.
But then my children made my days
I watched them cheer and clap and play
Memories are just like jelly tarts.
Bound together, within my heart.
