Bombs are falling,
children are screaming,
the streets are covered in blood.
Spending my days hiding
and daydreaming.
Little children of all ages,
mum and dad are gone
Don’t know what to do.
Our country needs peace.
Soldiers are just as scared.
My mum’s skin is creased
from all the violence.
Is Australia really easy going?
Why won’t they let my family in?
The camps here are overflowing.
Australia is free, free-er than me
My father is lost - lost forever.
Will Australia ever agree?
