I Picked A Pear

I picked a pear,
It was all my tree would bear,
I went back home,
And sat on a chair,
I then ate that one pear,
In despair.

I took its seeds,
And planted them to see,
If I could grow another pear tree.

The very next day,
A fairy came to say,
“I can make a pear grow everyday”,
And I agreed with an excited ‘yay’,

And then she cast the spell,
It worked out well.
And everyday when I went out in the fresh air,
I picked a pear.
