Rejection

R-E-J-E-C-T-I-O-N
The cause that produces bitterness within us
Whether it’s socially, academically or the like
It makes us feel isolated and desperate
And compares against others with disappointment
It locks us in a dark space
Whilst making us consume poison of our minds
But why do we have to be like this?
Maybe...rejection is a good thing
Sometimes it gives us a hidden opportunity
To accept where we’re at
To learn from our mistakes
Because perhaps the best thing about rejection
Is that we all will continue learning
Endeavouring to such an extent
That we will still get there in the end
