I Want To Be A Tree

I want to be a tree.
A tree with no troubles
A tree with no worries
A tree with no unhappiness
And a tree with no hurtful things.
My life would be a lot better.
I would just sit there, not thinking or caring about anything.
I would call for birds to sit on me,
I would wave to passing cars.
I wouldn’t have to go to school,
And I wouldn’t have to do any chores.
There’d be no homework,
And best of all, no bullies.
Ah, what a wonderful life that’d be.
I want to be a tree.
