Melancholy Cosmos

Melancholy stars hang lazily in the air,
Reminders of our fleeting existence.
Nebulas twirl in the heads of those with faces blank as winter skies,
As they envy the lives of those with smiles like twin suns.
But still the cosmos sprawls across the otherwise desolate sky,
A tapestry illustrating the catalyst of existential dread.
Have faith in the thought that nothing will truly matter after every event is called into question,
By the interrogating gaze of an expanding sun all worries in the galaxy be banished into the depths of history.
