The moon in the sky
The snail in the sand
The bees buzzing through the tree
The leaves falling to my hand

The grass growing from the soil
A rose bursting through the thorn
A kiss at midnights glance
Until it was gone

A summer nights dance
The soft touch of hands
A river through the heart
Our blood flows swiftly in the dark

Like a doe and her fawn
The birds rise at dawn
The night begins to fade
But never the memories we made
