I step outside I wonder why,
A thousand colours fill the sky,
I gaze my eyes and start to cry,
Until I have to say goodbye.
Train blows its whistle and passes by, the driver waves but I am shy,
I show a smile and wait a while,
Until he is away a mile.
Dandelions of colour yellow,
They make my little heart all mellow,
Marigold's sunflowers bloom,
I sit until I see the moon.
I step outside I now know why,
The thousand colours fill the sky,
I gaze my eyes and start to cry,
And now I have to say goodbye.
