sticky sweet concoction of sugars and sweets,
and liquid sapphires that glimmer.
they glow, twinkle and reflect light.
whirling and twirling to the
beat of the mixing machine. on the fleeting days of summer.
sticky sweet concoction of sickly perfection.
too false and artificial, their affection pseudo.
bronzed and pretty,
they glint, sparkle and rejoice in the summer heat.
tittering and snickering to the
ease of baby-doll softness. on the fleeting days of summer.
sticky sweet concoction too sticky too sweet.
a drama of giggles,
and spindly legs and arms and winsome faces.
they still glisten, sparkle and reflect january’s assault.
frolicking and whispering.
in the ease of baby doll pulchritude .
