I am like a bird,
You keep me locked in a cage,
You rarely set me free,
I am your pet,
You manipulated me,
You treat me as a possession,
I long for the feel of wind rushing through my wings,
I desire the feel of soaring, gliding,
I wish to feel the rush of danger,
The exhilaration of being chased,
Yet here I am, stuck,
In this metal enclosure,
The one that I can never escape,
Driving myself into insanity,
Yet I know I will never be free.
