You Lied

The clock is ticking,
The wind is blowing,
My heart is aching,
Our memories are burning.

You left me all alone,
You stopped picking up the phone,
In my heart you had the throne,
But you just left me on my own.

I fake smile as bright as the sun,
I pretend that I'm having fun,
But my heart really wants to run,
Our love ended so sadness begun.

Because of you I was inspired,
But now your love for me has expired,
For you no matter how hard I tried,
To me you lied, lied and lied.
