It was rumoured he spoke to the stars
about the tragedies that struck
those he loved especially
dear old Wendy Darling
the one that fell in love
and fell out of love
with a boy named
Peter Pan

But it was believed she never
did fell out love but instead
moved on because the boy
she loved could never grow
old with her

So he befriended the stars
the night she left
because at least
the stars were infinite.
