No more fishing, no more bait
Now drowning in tears, waiting for your wake
No more ice cream, no more donuts
Once eaten with you, now lost without you
No more visits, no more talks
Now sit in silence, waiting for your voice
No more hellos, just one last goodbye
The pain of you gone, is eating me inside
The need for your wisdom, the need for your love
My wish to impress you, shall never be satisfied
My heart, heavy as stones, feels as lonely as ghosts
My hand is now cold, from the absence of yours
The flood of my tears, the ache of my heart
Staring at my clock, watching the hours pass
I love my grandpa, even though he’s gone
For cancer took over, and made his heart stop
