I hate getting to the end of a book
It's always so sad and I never want it to end
There's always so much more to explore but it often isn't explored
I hate getting to the end of a book

The end of book is so bitter sweet
Especially when there's no sequel
The end of a book is so bitter sweet
when we have to say goodbye to the stories we love.

I hate getting to the end of a book

But then as the joy of the story begins to leave my mind
I remember that there's such a thing as re-reading
