Bathroom idol

One day a family bought an old house,
Haunted it was, held more than one mouse.
Little girl Sue saw pictures one night,
Their eyes they did twitch, she did get a fright.

Up the stairs she did flee, and then down the hall,
To tell her sister who was skinny and tall.
Her sister, Georgina, care she did not,
“It’s nothing,” she said and away she did trot.

Georgina in the shower, her parents in bed,
Sue hears scary noises running through her head.
Scared to move she walks quietly to her room,
The door shuts itself in the darkness and gloom.

Into her bed she slowly did crawl,
Trying to sleep, she could not move at all.
She heard lots of noises, the tiniest creak,
Under her bed she had a little peek.

As soon as she saw them she jumped out of bed,
Out the door to the bathroom she fled.
Ghosts they were coming closer to Sue,
She screamed with terror not knowing what to do.

They gobbled her up, her parents as well,
Suddenly they stopped, they started to yell.
It was a terrible noise coming from the shower,
It was Georgina singing, “I’ve got the power!”

The ghosts spat out Sue and both of her folks,
And off they flew to their town of Spooktolks.
When she got out she was awarded a kiss,
For saving the lives of her parents and sis.

Meanwhile in Spooktolks, ghosts are too afraid,
To go and scare people, even if paid.
They don’t leave their houses even if vital,
For they might hear that human – Bathroom Idol.
