She falls, grazes her knees, stares into space, wondering,
What should she do? She ponders on this very question,
Memories invade her mind; her short life flashes before her.
Simple joys; eating dinner with family,
deciding what shoes to wear.
Her life didn’t seem bad.
She knows, that in her heart, she is tired of this thing we call life.
For her, it isn’t a life but a constant uphill battle.
We know she doesn’t deserve this, so why is nothing ever done?
This is what we ask ourselves, and the answer is that,
Children will never tell, as they are ashamed of what they are.
Children want to be something that is fake, not real.
The voice inside her is swallowing her up with horrible thoughts.
Whatever she says is wrong, and everything she does is wrong.
Unfortunately, that was the end for her.
So wrong, something must change.
