Silence falls as you pay your respect,
War is real and you witnessed it happen,
Guns are shooting everyday,
Bombs are falling every minute,
One day it will really be over,
They say their goodbyes to their lost ones,
They prepared to fight,
They know the consequences.
They risk their life to make their country proud,
Every second losing a life,
Tears are running down their red rosy cheeks,
With their hands burning from trying to cut the rope,
Eyes are swelling from trying to cope,
As they all slowly perish,
At last, it is finally over.
