Does life illuminate paths to follow?
Every breath seems like it’s a cliche,
Imperfections leave us feeling hollow,
But they give us colour in lives of grey!
If all are unique, then aren’t we the same?
Pain and suffering shapes our mental worlds,
But iniquities are what keep us sane.
How can some stand out like sparkling pearls?
When we all store our own joy and regrets.
In a crowd identities fades away,
Because beauty submerges our defects,
And all that remains are traits we crocheted.
Though people seem countless like drops of rain,
Like the stars, God has given each a name.
