Feeling darkness, despondent, demolished all night,
There lay a boy whose heart pounded and pounded,
As if he was the fish in the shark tank,
He was different from the others at school
If only his heart wasn’t captured by negativity,
His voice not constrained by apprehensiveness,
His positive thoughts weren’t demolished by others,
His life wasn’t degraded by thoughts of others
If only, if only, he knew,
It wasn’t too late to make friends,
Wasn’t too late to seek aid,
Wasn’t too late to ignore,
Wasn’t too late for the decision he made…
