Death
Let me die a real man’s death
A normal man’s death
A subtle but known one
Only noticed by some like the tragedy of a fire
A burning pain in the eyes of the beloved
The one that crosses the mind of another but is never truly recognized
One as beautiful as a newly wedded couples love
Or the birth of a first born
As for once his ice touch caresses my heart
I shall be seen no longer by my love children
For my hollow face shall be burned into the depth of a memory
The gruesome reminder of what once was
And will be no more
A ghostly white forever etched into my face
Letting all know about his presence
Deaths presence
