One Selfish Brain

Sparks of fire in the distance,
People began to run,
Houses were demolishing,
One, by one.
The land was screaming fire,
Smoke rushed through the air,
No fire service near,
Do people even care?
Just one selfish person,
Just one cigarette,
My heart is now ashes,
Will I ever see Uguette?
'Twas once a tranquil night,
A night I won't forget,
The night that haunts me most,
Goodbye my dear Uguette.
