Wave Of Terror

I can’t believe it, she’s gone, she’s really gone. Why did she have to go, she could have stayed, she could have stayed with me. I should have tried harder, I should have convinced her not to go. Now she’s gone, and I’ll never see her again.
Tammy was her name, she was beautiful, long dark hair with bright green eyes. She was so joyful and brought such happiness to everyone she met. She was selfless, always helping people, a true angel, too pure for this world. How did I, a worthless little scrub that would never amount to anything, get a woman like her? How? I was going to propose you know, the day she left, it was supposed to be our 5th anniversary, 5 years we had been dating, no one could believe it, the son of a criminal, with the beauty of the town.
I tried to stop her, but she wouldn’t budge,
“I have to go” she said,
“I have to do something”.
And with a flash, she was gone. Jumped on a boat to who knows where and vanished. I guess she was right though, someone had to help, all those families effected by the recent earthquake, all the lives lost, all those hurt. But no one could even imagine after all that, that same city would be hit by a tsunami, and that my Tammy, my beautiful Tammy, would be gone.
