That Place On 44 Axe Street

They hunt in the light, kill in the night, make sure you stay awake, or you’ll get a massive fright.
On the night of Halloween Sarah and Jake were about to go trick-or-treating when they suddenly heard a voice say, “They hunt in the light, kill in the night!” BOOM BANG CRASH!!! Went the thunder.
“AAAHHH!!” screamed the kids. “What was that?” whispered Jake. They heard a scream come from upstairs. The kids searched the house and that’s when they saw a little creepy doll on their parents’ bed with a note that said, ‘Come to 44 Axe Street and you will find…’
Sarah didn’t know what to do, she was the elder child so she needed to make the decision. Sarah was wondering what they should do. Suddenly Jake got out a map and started running to 44 Axe Street. Sarah chased after him and when she caught him, they were already there.
When they got there, they saw the house was a big, black, and broken down old house with a lot of dirt and plastic out the front. The kids were so creeped out by the house but they knew that they had to go inside the old house. When they opened the door, it creaked and then slammed shut. When they turned the lights on, they saw a lots of dolls on the floor and they looked exactly like the ones that were in their parents’ bedroom. “I recon we should leave and come back in the morning,” whispered Sarah. “Oh come on don’t be scared,” said Jake, and the kids walked in further.
The kids heard screams coming from upstairs. When they started walking up the stairs the little creepy dolls started moving and then they started saying, “Make sure you stay awake.” Then the dolls started running towards the kids and they ran up the stairs as fast as they could. When they got upstairs, they heard screams again, but the screams sounded kind of blurry. They went into every room and the bathroom was the last one. When they entered the bathroom, they saw their parents tied up to a chair with tape on their mouths and a little doll with a book on their mum’s lap. “What happened?” asked Sarah with a worried voice. They quickly untied their parents. “Read the book,” said their mum with ghostly eyes. It said, “Or you’ll get a massive fright.” They heard a massive crash down stairs. The kids and their parents ran down the stairs. Their dad pulled out a knife and held it out in front of them. “Dad you don’t need that, remember they hunt in the light, kill in the night, so they can’t kill us, it’s still light outside!” So they quickly ran back home and locked all the doors and windows. “I think we’re safe now,” said Jake. And they all went to bed and forgot about the horrible night they had, forever. The end
