i'm screaming
deceiving myself in believing
that i am anything more than i am

no matter what happens
i thought things would last
and the changes so radical
present from past

i'm crying
despising the lies you've been hiding
i try to do more than i can

i'm scared and i'm lonely
my head in my hands
somebody save me

someone please understand
