Screaming Grass

Yawn! Awoke the grass from its slumber,
each and every cluster.
They stared at the lawnmower,
but he didn’t surrender
Every piece of grass, both young and old
tried to look very bold.
Because they knew there needed to be war,
even though they were breaking the grass law.
Soon it was night,
and they were to put up a fight,
they were going to destroy it with all their might.
So they put forward their plan and guess what happened,
The grass cutter’s world saddened.
The foul Lawnmower had been broken,
and no one saw him again,
For he was abandoned in the den.
