“Don’t eat so much sugar if you want to look like her.”
"Your hem is too high.”
"You should learn to sew."
"You will never have a boy over."
"Learn to cook dinner."
(What are girls good for?)
"Girls are good for cleaning, cooking, caring and serving."
"You will have a child."
"You will never get an abortion, or else."
"You will listen to the men who run your nations."
(But why?)
“Because you are a girl,
you are supposed to,
and you are different.”
(Why are we any different to men?)
