Flaws are the most beautiful things in the universe.
Chinks, in the Armour we build around us, to let in daylight.
An unexpected dimple, an unwanted blemish
that blooms like a Wildflower,
pushing its way up between identical blades of emerald
we try so hard to keep immaculate.
Smile lines, creases that Love seeps into.
Crevices that form the map that leads to the heart.
Wrinkles where the ghosts of past tears linger,
etching a silver trail through the mind.
What divides our own minds in two, when we fixate on the polished mirror of perfection,
but unites us with others. Binds hearts together.
Cracks that make us
who we are, raw and beautiful.
Grooves that show we are purely, shamelessly, unadulteratedly
Human.
