You’re the boy I met on my first day
You’re the boy who became my friend
You’re the boy who does Cadets
You’re the boy I had late night chats with
You’re the boy I couldn’t stop thinking about
You’re the one I fell in love with
Then after Christmas everything changed
You stopped coming to school
You stopped talking to me
Then you dropped out
You pushed all of your friends away, including me
Yet I still try to see if you’re okay
But you never answer the phone or reply to my texts
Now I give up. Do you know why?
Because you’re the first boy who I ever loved, who I ever cried over
I give up, because you’re the one who broke me...
