The Eternal War

I find a strange comfort,
To lay in the wrath of the storm.
The ferocity of the thrashing waves,
Of the destructive sky… it soothes me.
It eases my mind,
To witness a greater force struggle.
I stare in awe, take a deep breath,
Embracing the feeling of completion.
A battle of the sky and the sea,
Malicious and sublime.
The eternal war,
Where neither will ever win.
