Not on the land but in the sea
It’s where I belong, it’s where I’m free
Swimming through the currents and waves
Swimming through areas I cannot save.
Going to my home reef
I cannot believe what I see it gives me grief
The humans have won once again
They pollute the area and now it’s dead plain.
Dashing through the currents and waves
Passing by areas that can never be saved
Going to Queensland’s reef
Startled how it’s rotten like an old man’s teeth.
I am angry, I am scared
Humans pollute and it’s not fair
So let’s clean up our terrific seas
Before it’s polluted by twenty fifty.
