JUST A TREE

I’m like a tree swaying back and forth
Going with the flow, always going north
My emotions, leaves, always blowing
Every day I will always be growing

Alive and indestructibly healthy
But at the same time not too stealthy
Watching over the world as I tower above
As free as a bird like a white, feathered dove

Colourful and bubbly every time you see me
My branches, friends, connected to me
Never going be cut down, never going to stop
Never going to stop till I reach the top.
