What a lovely colour yellow is.
The colour of stories, a thousand lives, living through you
Flames as they dance to an unheard song
The pale sky as it is awakening to a new day
The flowers that grow as reminders of what’s beneath the cement
What a lovely colour yellow was.
The colour that once represented life represents the colour of your skin.
The burning flames that course through you
The pale colour of the sky as it slowly turns blue
The colour of the wilting flowers that drown in the reality of the cement
Yellow is blue.
