My sisters watching nursery rhymes about spiders climbing pipes
I think my toy tarantula will give her quite the fright!
She watched a horror movie and stayed up all last night,
I make it crawl on the couch and sit just right beside her,
When from the kitchen comes our cat, and looking smug with a purrr...
And pounces on my spider, claws and paws and fur
It grabs it and bites it till decides it doesn’t care
I now feel sorry for my toy as it crawls beneath the chair
It comes dusty, dirty and stuck to its cat hair
I use my remote and make the poor thing retreat
When my sister holds up my toy as the real things at my feet!
I shout, I shriek, I call, I yell, I scream and I watch with nervous eyes,
As the spider moves around, it spells the word surprise!
As my parents come remote in hand and say, for me, they’ve got a prize
They pick it up and throw it to me, soon after saying catch!
I run and grab...The door handle and bolt for some pesticide
