GOLD

As bright as the sun on a summer's day
It makes you feel like you want to stay
As precious as the rarest thing
It makes you feel just like a king
It's really bright on a gloomy night
And boy, it makes such a beautiful sight
It makes you look young and old
And it makes you bright and bold
Gold is for champions at the end of a race
Just like my younger sister Grace
Gold leaf is used in many desserts
And makes the customers go berserk
Thieves like to steal lots of gold
Which makes them very low and cold
Gold flows through the afternoon air
And in the end it makes life fair
