War, What Could We Do?

The ground roared,
as the mine erupted,
the dirt was littered,
with those who'd fallen,

BANG! SMASH!
Lives were destroyed,
and dreams perished,
by the people's,
wielding the planes,

Oh, who could live?
what could they do?
Death isn't fair!!!!!
or was cruelty the true path?
