Have you ever seen the trees sway as the flowers bloom?
Have you ever heard birds chirp from inside your room?
Have you ever felt the fresh winds ru?ing your thick hair?
Have you ever tasted the singing strawberries with care?
These are sensations only found in nature.
But when Time passes it changes the future.
Nothing survives the wrath of Time.
The flowers turn black forgetting their chime.
The trees start to release their held back tears,
The grass bows as the wind clears,
And Time walks by, not stopping or caring,
As his scythe continues on,
To slice the black roses, To clear the bare trees,
To crush the bowing grass, Until he pays his fees.
Memory comes back.
Remembering the grassy track,
The chiming flowers and the blooming trees.
Time continues on but can’t devour,
The one little thing that can save an hour, Memory.
