Ocean Thoughts

As I saw the ocean sea
It brought a weak feeling in my knees.
I started to cry.
I realised it looked like a diamond in the sky.
I felt the water on my fingertips, it was freezing cold,
As I sat back on the sand with the waves looking bold.
When night came in,
I started to think
About what the waves brought in.
It was a beautiful sight,
It didn’t at all give me fright.
I was once happy again.
