My Life

Heavy headed I stumbled to the right,
Just as the sun shot my life,
Problems piled up one by one,
Very dazed I picked up a gun,
Day by day, life got harder,
I struggled a lot, then realised I was done.

People came to see what was done,
And thought to themselves, see what I’ve become,
Helpless and thoughtless, they picked up their bags,
As I rose from the floor tears came down,
Sobbing and sadness that described it,
Never would I do that, I promised.

I never would realise what was wrong,
But continued to think my life was done,
Days would go by but nothing happened,
But to this day I say, I’m not done.
