Oliver And Lightning

“Here Lightning” I said. “Woof, woof, woof” barked lightning. I’m Oliver and my pet dog is lightning. He’s fast, fun and his favourite game is fetch. Me and him have fun times together. “Oliver, get dressed for soccer” yelled Mum from the kitchen. “All right Lightning, no more playing until after soccer” I said as I went to my room and got changed. An hour later, after soccer, I came home and looked for Lightning. “Here boy! Come here. Lightning?” I said. That’s when I found out Lightning was lost. My heart was beating rapidly. I was so worried. I didn’t know where he was. He could be anywhere. Lightning had made it to the soccer grounds. Lightning couldn’t find Oliver. He tried getting home, he couldn’t find his way back. He had been lost for days. He was getting hungry. Oliver put up lost posters. Lightning was walking in the street one day. He was looking for fresh food. Some people gave him food. Oliver was with his Mum at the markets. Oliver looked up and saw Lightning. “Woof! Woof! Woof!” Lightning barked excitedly. Oliver yelled “Lightning! Here boy!” Oliver hugged Lightning so much. “It’s good to see you boy.” Oliver said “Mum grab some dog food.” “Ok” said Mum. “Let’s take Lightning home” I said. That night we all celebrated.
