The day that gives the week extra sun,
The say that gives my life extra fun.
The warm Summer breeze on a Friday afternoon,
The cold crispy breeze on a full Winter moon.
The sound of children laughing and having a giggle,
The day that provides just a little jiggle.
The day that makes me feel happy and free,
The day that makes me be me.
The day that makes me want to fly like a bird,
The day that birds can be truly heard.
The day that brings us all together,
The day that we can do whatever the weather.
