A dark hand touching a light hand, A rich man helping a poor man,
A young face looking into an old A convict dancing with a child,
All people working together, All people put aside there differences,
For a goal to be told. And share hoe that is wild.


A stranger and stranger together, A shout comes out from the open,
A foe and a foe are now friends, Like a footstep falling on sand,
All people helping each other, All people together proclaim,
making beginnings meet ends. "Now there is peace in this land!"


And heart understanding another,
A soul reaching out to a soul,
All people feeding there elders,
With plate, spoon and bowl.
