Goodbye

I wish to bid you farewell
But not to dwell
We will miss you as you go
But we also know
That a new life awaits you
Over the seas and in the sky
In a plane oh so high
On your way to a new world
And now it’s time to unfurl
Your wings of knowledge
Of which you have encouraged
Many of us over the years
Me and many peers
So we say goodbye
And try not to cry
As we wish you well Miss
For your new life in Canada
