The fire burns through with power and ease
It brings many a person to their knees
Our icons flee, frightened and scared
Few are saved by the heroes that cared
But its okay, do not fear
We will march on and persevere
We will stand tall, side by side
In this beautiful country in which we reside
But from the ashes, dark and thick
We will rebuild, brick by brick
Until our town has recovered completely
We will listen to the sound of the waves crashing discreetly
