Gold Mine

You hold me tight,
As we stare at the climb
Because we'll cave tonight
My Gold Mine.
I look into your eyes,
Scared of what I'll find,
But all I see is light,
Standing with you tonight.
We share what we own,
And kisses when alone,
But how long can we go,
With all the weight we tow?
And then you leave,
And I stay with my greed,
Because I crossed the line,
My Gold Mine.
